Bilbao 2

Today Michael and I spent the afternoon walking the beautiful streets of Bilbao and going to the Guggenheim museum. The featured artist was David Hockney. Out front is a giant statue of a dog from which colorful flowers grow. After the museum we stopped for pintxos and a couple nationally award-winning gin and tonics,made with Jamaican peppers. Bilbao has been more beautiful than I could have pictured, and tomorrow we are off to San Sebastian -which a local Bilbao man told us last night is the most beautiful town in Spain... So I can only imagine!!
